The 50 Year Anniversary Book was published in 1977 and dedicated to Bruce Olson.
We selected this picture of Bruce at the Retiree Holiday Dinner, held on November 10, 1976, because we like its friendliness and good humor. Shown with Bruce is George Rance who retired from Hydraulics in 1970.
Bruce began his career with Sundstrand by working in the shop during his summer vacations, and became Corporate President in 1949, after the death of his father, Hugo Olson.
We are pleased to dedicate this book to Bruce, who has always been a staunch supporter of the association.
